HVAC, Electrical Systems, Acoustics
2007-2016
Natural Works has worked on the former Tejo power station in two phases. In 2007, the Low Pressure Boiler building was converted into a multipurpose space for conferences and events. The plant and ducts were hidden, and long-throw diffusers were built into the existing inverted hoppers, leaving the industrial architecture untouched. In 2016, for Fundação EDP, Natural Works designed the HVAC, building management, electrical, lighting, telecommunications and acoustics for the renovation of exhibition rooms 1 and 2. Architecture design of the 2016 renovation by Pedro Gadanho and Ana Robalo.
