The new central laboratory of EPAL, Lisbon's water company, is a four-story building on the EPAL site in Olivais. Its façade combines a double-skin ventilated glazed envelope, horizontal shading fins and adjustable external louvers. Natural Works carried out the energy simulation and regulatory compliance of the building, and designed the acoustics and the photovoltaic system. Architecture design by Gonçalo Byrne Arquitectos.
