HVAC Systems Design Engineer

João graduated in Energy and Environmental Engineering from the University of Lisbon and completed an MSc in Energy and Environmental Sciences at the University of Groningen, in the Netherlands. Before joining Natural Works, he was a research scientist in the Building Energy Analysis Group.

He has worked at Natural Works since 2016, where he designs HVAC and mechanical ventilation systems and sizes solar thermal and photovoltaic systems. He also certifies the energy performance of residential and commercial buildings, and leads the team's work in Revit and BIM MEP.
